Still working on moving forward!  Don't have the thing I planned for last week done yet because I hurt my arm last week
(some nerve stuff with my elbow giving me problems) but it seems to have cleared up so I'm going to try and get that out
as soon as possible.  I have a few things I've been sitting on, though, and I hope you all enjoy them, nonetheless~!

This means the Adventures of Clara Cosmos! :3  Going to be working on that as well as stuff involving a certain bird demon and
her unlikely companion, so keep an eye out for that. ;>

Hey peeps!

Really happy with my progress last week! The new schedule is working out and just chipping away at things as I go has really helped out my

general well-being and mood about my work.

Going to get my impressions for my upper dentures this week, too! While I'm a little nervous about that, there's not really going to be any poking or anything like that associated. It's mostly just going to be biting down on some vile tasting silly putty. XD

So yeah! Good stuff coming up! Got a bit more work done on Clara, and now I can focus on other things I've been meaning to get to! The future is looking bright, peeps!

Hey peeps!

Getting back into things! Still slowly chewing down the sketches I owe, but things are going well and are returning to a new normal.

I’ve got my impressions for my teeth next week, so that’s cool, and I’ve adjusted my schedule so
I’m feeling more awake and alive than I have in a while!
It and a few other things are really helping me manage my ADHD and get things done!

However, as I said before, I’m going to need income again soon, so as I start to grind into my projects and such,
I’ll be taking a small number of commissions to supplement things.
I’ve settled on my prices and I’m creating the site graphics so that my commission prices and info will be up to date!

I’ll be throwing out a small number of spots for people and filtering them in between my leftover sketches during streams.
That will hopefully be sometime this week, so keep a look out for that announcement.

Things came up over the weekend (nothing huge or bad, just a lot of busywork)
and I’ve got a bunch of stuff to take care of tomorrow and the exterminator comes over on Tuesday,
so I won’t be able to stream, or won’t be able to say when I can stream.

Starting Wednesday, though, I’ll be trying to stream every weekday, with at least three hours put
towards commissioned work and two put towards personal work.

I figure with that kind of consistency and persistance, we’ll get through everything regardless!
That way, like with my uploads, I’ll be able to keep up a consistent output and eventually we’ll finish all of it.

That’s my plan!

My goal to help out with my roommate’s bab is $500 a month, so let’s see if we can knock that out of the park. I’m excited!

Hey there everyone!

Sorry for no update last week, things have been a little hectic and I’ve been very tired, and maybe a little sick lately.

Nothing big, but just a bit run-down.

Thankfully, things have started to normalize a bit and my roommates’ baby has started to at least sleep
a bit more than she has been at night, which is very good for all of us.

I’m trying to rework my schedule, again, and trying to establish a routine and perhaps a decent bedtime finally.
It’s been tough, but with the upheaval, I can’t really harangue myself over it too much for struggling the last month or so.

I do, however, want to get moving forward and to that end, after I get my taxes finished this week,
I’m going to be reassessing my prices and seeing about updating my commission page finally.

I’ve still got a lot of sketches to go, to be sure, but working on things every day, hopefully,
I’ll be able to grind through them, and maybe take one or two more items soon to get my income back.

I know there’s a lot of work to do, but at this point I need to start making money again,
and while my dental work is still going to require a lot of money,
I can no longer afford to take my time and try to pick through things.

I need to get back in gear, so I’ll let you guys know when I’m ready to go, but it will be soon.

That said, in good news, I’m going to be picking up streams again starting on Friday.
I might get interrupted for… baby assistance now and again, but having steady work that
I can focus on will be nice. So I look forward to seeing y’all again!

Everything else is… going as planned. As good as it can be, at the very least!
I’m trying to get my next check-up scheduled for sometime in the next week or so, so that’ll be nice.

And we’ll see where we go from there!

Woo…!

Sorry if this is a little late! This week’s been a lot, but things haven’t come to a TOTAL standstill, thankfully.

The baby is starting to sleep with a bit more regularity and though I’m helping out, I’m finally starting to find places to work on stuff, it was just really hard at the beginning of last week.

This week I’m going to concentrate on doing the preliminaries for people who only have one thing left from me: Rutay1, Meyra, Shannon, Flahro, and Milo.

We’ll see if I can knock a few of those out, but I can at least get the poses taken care of.

I’ve talked to most of you, but if I haven’t, I’ll poke you during the week!

It’s been highly disruptive, but we’re at least approaching something MORE like a new normal (plus a little bean), so that’s something to be happy about!

I’ve also been working on some personal stuff (in spite of what I said, because I just can’t help myself) so Various Happenings in particular has had a good few things… well… happening with it! So hopefully you all will get to see that sometime soon!

We’re just moving on into April, so I hope you’re all doing well! Take care of yourselves and I’ll see you all next week!

Hello everyone and a bountiful Ostara to you all!

As you can see things are going to be a bit rocky still, but I’m going to attempt to schedule myself regardless!
Going to be babysitting the little potato while Dicy’s at work so that Tigre can get at least some sleep,
but we’ll see if I can manage some traditional sketches or something while I’m sitting on the couch with the bab.

It’s all very terrifying, honestly. I’m not used to holding something so small, but I’m going to do my best! @_@

On days when I’m not spending most of my time hanging out with the little bean, I’ll be working on things.
Putting my head down and denying myself of any outlet besides working on the list didn’t work, but it was also a very stressful time.
My schedule’s going to change a lot, so I don’t know how that’s going to affect things, but it might be better? Hard to say.

Anyway, we’ll see what happens! I’m going to try and just… go for it. Going to see about getting the printer for stickers, bookmarks and art cards,
as well as a scanner if I do end up with a bunch of traditional work sitting around.

So yeah! We’ll see what happens. There’s not going to be a real… normal for some months, so we’re just playing it all by ear!

Regardless, going to get my impressions done in April and soon I’ll have a new set of chompers! Won’t that be exciting? Also trying to exercise and such,
so… who knows? Maybe my health really will improve a lot in the coming months! I can hope so.

Not a lot to say!  There's a lot going on, and the baby is here!  They're so tiny!

I'm trying to juggle a bunch of things going on, so sorry about the late update, but I'm going to be trying to make time to get started on
a bunch of the sketches that I owe and get them so that people can see them and review them.

Not much more to say!  Still more drawing!

So, um… yeah!

Hey everyone! So due to her blood sugar being harder and harder to control and some other minor things, Tigre is, as of me typing this, in the hospital getting induced into labor for her and Dicy’s baby! So yay!

Um… of course, that means that sleep is going to be weird for like… at least a month. So that means that I do not know how things are going to be set up or when streams are going to happen or if they can happen. I don’t know what I’m going to be doing at any particular time, so right now my plan is to work on things whenever I’m able and just chip away at stuff for people who aren’t in the discord or extra stuff that’s piled on if people don’t care about me sending them works in progress.

So, it’s going to be kinda crazy, but I’m not going to let that stop me!

I’m just… yanno, a little terrified at having a tiny human being around the house. XD

But, I’ll be the best godparent I can be!

So yeah… heading into March! We’ll see what the future holds! It’s gonna be wild!

Hey everyone! n.n

So, as those of you on my Discord already know, I've been thinking about the recent stream stuff,
what I've been doing right and what I've been doing wrong, and I’m going to be making a few changes.

First of all, for the moment, I'm putting Various Happenings off to the side for a little bit again.

I love my projects and I want to move forward, so bad...
But I have to pace myself properly and that means setting things aside for just a little while longer.

I can't overdo my work because I'll burn out or hurt myself, and I need to finish all the stuff
I took on for my dental work last September and October, so I can, first, take more paying work so that
I can help Dicy and Tigre when their little girl shows up, which is very soon;
and second, get all the work I have owed out to the people waiting for it!

So yeah, right now it's going to be just MWF streams for me, and that's going to be focusing on work.
Hopefully VH won’t have to wait much further beyond mid-March, but we’ll see what happens.

Second, the voting for side work during the streams has been very popular
and I appreciate that you all have been very enthusiastic about it!
(If you’re not on my Discord, you should be, we vote for fun stuff for me to do during stream!)

But also, I get carried away and I can’t afford to do that. XD
So, here is going to be the stream format for the foreseeable future:

Stream Posting & Voting: The voting will be included in the stream posting so
you can vote there and it won't get lost in the chatter in the stream channel.

Opening & Doots: Fifteen to twenty minutes of little doodles to warm up my arm.

Commissions: Taking the people who readied up and working on commissions.
I hope to get three to four characters worth done per day.

Voted Item & Closing: The last two hours of the stream will be dedicated to the voted item.

I'm going to try to start between 12pm and 2pm EST and end between 6pm and 8pm EST.
Variables depend on my health, things coming up, and other factors but I'm going to try to make it a consistent 8 hours like I used to.

Third, once everything on the commission list is done, I'm going to be
updating my commission info on the site!
Once that’s finished, that will be your go-to for all the information on
how to commission me and what my rules are!

Now, based on the feedback I’ve gotten so far, I’m probably going to be
doing Sketch on the Spot (SotS) streams once or twice a week (M+F or W+F) as my main thing.
These will be for black & white sketches, and then if someone wants to pay for color,
I can do those off stream or in a big backlog stream.

That means y’all will ask me to be on the list and then during the SotS stream,
I’ll call people on the list and we’ll do the sketches, just like it used to be.

This does not mean that I won’t be taking BIGGER pieces now and again,
but just that I’ll be pickier about it and be taking them irregularly at a lower volume.
I might go back to using google forms for that, just in case!

Once I'm more stable and secure in my monthly income, I can lean back on having streams for projects
(Various Happenings and/or Clara Cosmos streams) and working more towards putting those out regularly.

I've always had problems pacing myself in the past, I know, and I just need to
make sure I have enough time off to not hurt myself, and balance properly between making money and doing things I'm passionate about.

It's a struggle, and there's no surefire handbook, so even after over a decade of doing this stuff, I'm still struggling. But that's okay.

As for other business things, I also need to look up a printer that can print
card stock and stickers for future art merch, as well as seeing about replacing my drawing monitor
(which is wearing out waaaaaaaaay too fast currently and contributing to my current damage to my arm.)
So expect those expenses to show up on the counters fairly soon.

That's the current situation. Even if I’m going to be focusing on work for a bit,
Various Happenings – Chapter 6 is in production currently, and I hope once I clear out my list,
I can blitz out the first episode for you all fairly quickly!

My hope is still to manage the whole of Chapter 6 this year (and perhaps even more)
and a couple of other things, so we’ll see what happens!

but it means a lot to me. Life is difficult, more often than not, and it’s good to know y’all have my back! n.n!

Hello peeps!

I'm getting back to things, it seems! 
A little under the weather because I got my flu shot and my COVID booster at the same time.  That might have been a bad idea,
but we're running out of time until the little round arrives, so I need to get completely inoculated for the bab's safety.

Going to get back to my projects and the list this week, and get things moving!  I'm starting to feel better in general
and I've started to keep a journal again which makes it much easier for me to stay on tasks!  So that's good!

Things are going okay!  Healing's going well, and I don't have much more to say!  Happy chocolate day, everyone~!

Hello everyone!

Man, it’s been a rough couple of weeks, but the surgery went well and according to my dentist, everything is more or less on track. I don’t have any infections and everything seems to be healing up the way it’s supposed to, so I’ll be on track for another visit in April to get my fittings done for my upper denture.

That’s a relief to me, for sure!

I’m still very tired and not quite up to serious drawing yet. I’ve been sleeping a lot… but, I’ll be trying to upload things this week and get back into the working mode! I hope to be back to my normal pace next week, trying to clear out all the work I owe.

Just waiting for my insurance to come through, then I’ll have a better idea of where I’m standing as far as where my savings are.

Either way, not a lot to talk about right now. Just going to be trying to catch up on things and get everything back where it needs to be so I can move forward! Convalescing and all that.

Hey peeps!

Sorry about not posting a proper update last week.
I was working really hard on this year’s silly weekly update image series,
Into The Poxputmatron! ^ovo^!

Aaaaand it was a bit harder to do than I expected it to be,
so while I was able to finish it in a way that didn’t make it
look awful when I sized it down, it was like… Tuesday night by then.

But now, I have a weekly update image that’s readable and a LOT easier to update than the last one!

So that’s good!

I’ll also try to be updating mostly on the site rather than all the galleries,
so if you come here every week, you’ll see my update.
That doesn’t mean I’m going to stop posting on the galleries or anything,
just that I want to use my site more because it’s here.

I’m going to be updating the aesthetics of it slowly as well, so that’ll be fun!

I’m going to be trying to do updates on Sunday instead of Monday,
so I can have an extra day to work on things, and pace myself a little better.
Also, next week, I’m going to be getting my (hopefully) last dental surgery
which means Monday (and probably at least half the week)
I’m going to be pretty out of it!

But, once that’s done, I’ll actually be on the way to paying for all that stuff!

I’m also going to be trying to push for three streams a week to get these sketches done.

next year will be a little less intense and I’ll try and make it a more reasonable schedule.
I just needed to buffer my funds so that I could do this and finally feel… better physically than I have.
